If real estate deals were group projects, Todd was the straight-A student stuck doing all the work while the buyers and their agent forgot there was even an assignment. Communication from their side was about as consistent as a flip phone in a dead zone, but somehow Todd still pulled it all together. He kept me informed every step of the way, handled the curveballs, and made sure my property actually sold despite the “teamwork” being pretty one-sided. If you want someone who gets it done with professionalism and maybe a little bit of miracle-working, Todd’s your guy.

I cannot say enough how stress-free and actually enjoyable the entire process of purchasing my new "forever" home has been. I’m a single mom and first time homeowner I reached out to Todd to help me look for a home when all others told me it was not possible to purchase one … Todd went beyond my expectations in helping me every step of the way from answering all my questions (there were many ) to meeting up with my family and showing me countless properties even at times when it was at a moments notice (on my end ) he was and is very responsive to calls / text when I came across things I didn’t understand in the process of all the paperwork… he made what I thought would be impossible to do on my own possible:) I’m thankful for his support and believing in me when things seemed difficult… I’m grateful and thankful for Todd with helping me and my family through this journey…

Todd is the best realtor I could have hoped for! He really had my best interests in mind and was always receptive to my needs for the best property for me. As a first time homebuyer, he helped guide me through every step of the home buying process from choosing a home to negotiating a contract and inspection agreements. He understood my unique work schedule and was able to accommodate me when showing homes and making the final closing/inspection appointments. He is quick to respond to texts/emails and knows the ins and outs of the business. Not to mention, it was really fun working with him which is a huge deal because it helped alleviate the stress of this life changing decision. My experience was so positive, my brother has decided to choose him as his realtor to buy a new home. I will use him again as he is a gem of a realtor and know that I am getting honest, quality service and the access to properties that are true investments. Please do not hesitate to choose him as your next realtor! You’ll thank yourself later!

Once upon a time, I was devastated and hopeless. I was swindled by a previous real estate agent into buying a house in Portsmouth, an area I was unfamiliar with. I tried to turn it into a rental property in the most chaotic neighborhood in the middle of Portsmouth. If you're from Portsmouth, you know "Prentis Place" is a gruesome area to start any business. I had squatters, fights, suicides, and the worst tenants imaginable. They demolished my walls, bathrooms, yard, kitchen, rooms—everything. They stopped paying rent because they became addicted to drugs and felt no obligation to pay. After finally evicting everyone, I faced foreclosure notices and threats from PennyMac. Then, a glimmer of hope appeared through the cracks in the door, walls, and windows, in the form of a hero named Todd Morton. He helped my wife and me sell our house, gave us advice on what to fix, and even fixed additional damages to be paid out at closing, with no upfront fee. We flipped my $145,000 property to $200,000, collecting a substantial sum. Todd guided us through the entire process and sold the monstrosity of a home in under five days! During the pest inspection, I feared we'd be out another $10,000 because the renters were filthy and let rats run rampant, causing water damage from an unnoticed bathroom flood. But guess what? Todd found a guy who fixed everything for $3,000, and it went straight to closing costs—not a dime out of my pocket. Now the clock was ticking because PennyMac was threatening to foreclose on my house on the 25th, and closing was scheduled for the 24th. But Todd was able to get everyone on board, explain the situation, and we sold and closed five days earlier than the planned date. This was the first home I ever bought, and I was scared it would be my last. However, with Todd by my side as my real estate agent, I know my housing investments are safe and secure with him. HE IS THAT GUY, NO CAP.

Todd has been truly great to me and my family. He was able to help us sell a rental property in the worst area of Hampton Roads. We also were on a tight budget looking for a new home in a better area. We took his advice on putting an offer in on another home with a little over asking price. It was accepted right away and we were moving in two weeks later. Todd is the only realtor we will ever use in the future due to his professionalism, vast knowledge of the housing market, and calm demeanor during the stressful times in our life. He is just great. I will recommend him a million times over.

We had been trying to sell our condo for almost 6 months with another realtor. My good friend Ana told me we needed Todd!! So reached out to him and he instantly took control and made me feel he had it handled. He held open houses and staged the home. It was sold within a few months. He was always available and very knowledgeable. Would use him if I ever needed a home in Norfolk/ Va beach again. 10/10

When my husband and I decided to sell our first home, Todd went above and beyond for us! He was there, every step of the way. He took the time to meet with us, listened to our concerns and answered all of our questions. He knew exactly what price to list our home. His advice for pre-listing scope of work, knowledge of the current market and his transparency made the entire process seamless. We were blown away by the listing photos from his professional photographer! Our home was under contract by the end of the third day listed with multiple offers well over asking price! When it comes to being an AWESOME REALTOR!! Ole Todd is the main man. I first meet him back in 2019, when my wife and I were looking for our first home and not on Todd's part, we didn't go through with anything. Even with that being said, Todd made sure, we were always doing good, checking on our kids and my Moving Company, which he refers his clients to and all I hear them talk about is how AWESOME and AMAZING Todd is, which doesn't surprise me one bit. It was going to take a lot to get us to move out of a home and community that we loved for over 20 years and Todd Morton delivered. His knowledge of the area and the market conditions was invaluable. Todd not only found us a home, but sold our existing him in 3 days! Todd also followed up with us after we were in our new home to insure everything was working properly and we were happy with the area and home. My wife and I worked with Todd for quite a while looking for the right house for our family. We couldn't be happier with his work ethic and drive to help us find exactly what we wanted. My husband and I had a wonderful experience with Todd as our Realtor. This was our first home purchase and we will definitely be working with him again in the future. From answering our initial questions to connecting us with a mortgage lender, Todd helped make the process very smooth. We were up against a challenging market and had to write several offers before having a contract accepted. We had a few heartbreaks along the way and Todd was always there with words of encouragement. He was quick to drop what he was doing to show us new listings as they came on market. He was also very honest with us and quick to point out any flaws in the homes we saw so that we wouldn't be blindsided down the road. Ultimately, we found the perfect home and Todd's knowledge of the area and market helped us to be able to make an offer that the seller couldn't refuse while also keeping money in our pockets. Highly recommend! My boyfriend and I bought our first home from Atlantic Bay and was the most non stressful and smoothest experience. Being how young we are, we had no idea what we were doing they made it so it was enjoyable and understood everything that went into it. So thankful for them and everything they’ve done!! Our Son Brendan is a Navy Pilot in California and was just assigned to Norfolk. Brendan and his fiancé Kate connected with Todd to try to find a new home in the Chick’s Beach area during these crazy real estate times. Todd gave them tremendous personal attention and care throughout the process and found them a great townhouse near the beach that they loved. Todd not only quickly found them their new home, but he also took the extra steps to find them painters, cleaners, etc… so they can make their new home even nicer before they move in. Both Brendan and Kate keep saying “Todd is the man !” Todd has made their relocation process as smooth and simple as possible. We are all very thankful ! We recently used Todd Morton at The Morton Group to buy and sell our homes in Virginia Beach. He is truly dedicated to his clients and made both transactions incredibly easy. On the buying side, in today’s crazy real estate market, his knowledge and understanding of the local VB market and negotiating skills helped us land our dream home amongst multiple offers (with a selling contingency!), while still ensuring we got a good deal! He took the time to answer all of our questions and provided invaluable guidance to make our offer stand out over the others. On the selling side, Todd took on the challenging task of making sure our home sold and closed before we closed on our new home. From the professional photographer he brought in, to the tips he provided on home staging, to setting the “right” list price, Todd was able to get our house under contract in 2 days! And we received 6 offers - all over list! He didn’t stop there - Todd kept in constant communication with us all the way through closing. Not only was he an incredible help with selling our prior home, he helped our family get into our next home for our growing family. The service doesnt stop at closing either! Todd was an absolute heaven sent! He's very knowledgeable, professional and always texted me or called me back when I had questions or concerns. Todd's also a positive person that will help ease the tension and frustration of the whole home buying process. I believe if I didn't meet him and decide to work with him, I wouldn't be a home owner. Todd was a fantastic realtor! He was very patient with me and my wife, who were very picky as we were in no rush or specific timeline to buy. He did an excellent job at figuring out what we did and did not like in each place we checked out and then applying that to the next places he found for us, and when it came time to put in offers and do inspections and such he was extremely helpful in answering any questions or concerns we had, and got back to us very quickly. Ultimately he helped us get our dream home!
