A Suffolk home search can span named developments, historic villages and the downtown area. These are different kinds of places, so start with what you need from the property and your daily routes. The directory below separates six MLS searches and explains where a search label is narrower than the surrounding area.

Read a short guide, then select "View homes for sale" to open live listings. These searches include active homes, condos and townhouses. They exclude rentals and land.
Harbour View
Harbour View is a useful starting label for a north Suffolk search. The Riverfront at Harbour View is also searched separately below. Treat each property's association, parking and amenity information as specific to that listing; similar area names do not mean identical obligations or access.
The developer describes The Riverfront at Harbour View as a north Suffolk community along the Nansemond and James rivers, with golf and recreation amenities. Confirm which amenities and fees apply to the home you are considering, rather than assuming that every listing includes the same access.
This link uses the specific Bennetts Creek Quarter MLS subdivision. It is not a search for every home in the wider Bennett's Creek area. Compare floor plans, ownership type and any association documents; for newly built homes, confirm completion timing and what is included in the price.
Driver's historic district centers on a village crossroads with country stores and older houses. The MLS subdivision search is a starting point, not an official historic-district boundary. For an older property, ask about previous renovations and verify approvals before budgeting for exterior changes.
Suffolk maintains a village initiatives plan for Chuckatuck and Oakland. The search here uses only the Chuckatuck MLS label. Compare individual properties for lot use, utility service and maintenance obligations, and ask to widen the search if nearby subdivisions also fit your needs.
Downtown Suffolk's historic district includes older buildings and reused commercial spaces. This link uses the MLS label Old Town Suffolk, which may differ from official district boundaries. Confirm zoning, renovation requirements and parking arrangements for the exact property rather than relying on the neighborhood name.
MLS subdivision and neighborhood labels can cover only part of a larger community. Inventory changes throughout the day; a search can have no matching listings at a later visit. Contact us to expand an area search or set up listing alerts.
Suffolk listing snapshot
As of October 9, 2026, at approximately 5:46 p.m. Eastern, this site's MLS search returned 623 active homes, condos and townhouses in Suffolk. The average asking price was about $488,000. This is a citywide snapshot of asking prices, not sold prices or a neighborhood valuation.
Suffolk's search labels can combine a broad place name with a specific development. Read the address and map together, and test the route to the places you use most. Ask which utilities serve the home, what land-use rules apply and whether association fees cover the amenities that interest you. Compare those details before narrowing your shortlist.
Some listings may be duplicated in the search results due to the co-mingling of listings from more than one multiple listing service. Should there be different listing information between the duplicated listings; user is advised to verify the accuracy of the listing information before making any financial decisions.
